phenomy Hello This is my first time selling on here and I have absolutely no idea what to do once I’ve listed. I’ve looked at the help pages but I don’t know how to set my account up to actually sell through Poshmark as opposed to just getting the money from a buyer and going to the post office to ship. I noticed people are saying I will pay you through Poshmark but I don’t know how that works nor the shipping/label part. So yeah I just said a lot but I am thoroughly stuck right now

phenomy Yes so someone said they are interested but I don’t know what to do next. And I have people that are asking me to contact them directly or email them pics separate from the app. I guess I’m just Leary with all the fraudulent activity going on these days. I just want to make sure I’m doing things the right way. So a couple of people said they were interested in my items….. then what happens?

d_bradburn @phenomy I would personally never do business outside poshmark jus because it could get u in trouble with poshmark. if a person is trying to get u do some shady stuff or it doesnt sit right in ur gut just tell u will work with them in poshmark. here is a link that I think will help https://support.poshmark.com/s/article/348084547?language=en_US

phenomy As I am still trying to figure out how to get paid from poshmark. there is someone stating they are from their support team and that I have to make a minimum deposit of 200.00 and a maximum deposit of 500.00 into my poshmark account before i can start receiving payments. This sounds ridiculous and all i need to know is where and how to set this account up to receive payments, this should not be this difficult, and whenever I reach out their customer service they have all of these subjects

d_bradburn @phenomy if ur in the app you will click ur username in the bottom right corner. then u will scroll down and find payment methods. click that and it should take u through the steps.

phenomy can you do me a favor and go to my sales page as if you were going to purchase something from me or whatever and see how far you can get before you actually have to make a payment. Like does it take you to all the steps before you have to pay? I just did that on someone elses page and ended up buying something that i didn't mean to buy!

phenomy @d_bradburn thank you i just canceled it. I also created a duplicate account to go in and see how my stuff showed up for ordering. All is well and all of my payment info showed up when it came time to order my items. so yes that was definitely a scam!!! Man people are so wrong for this. Thank you for your help

lon0921 How do I know if I made a sale..I had two reach out and said they made a purchase but haven't received an email confirmation..would the email confirmation come from info at poshmark? One buyer said it was in a spam folder and I'm very skeptical about clicking links in spam. The email address doesn't come from postmark either.

d_bradburn @lon0921 Lots of questions. Here are the answers I have. 1. When you make a sale you will get a shipping label emailed to you from orders @poshmark.com, anything else is a scam. I've never had the labels go to spam. If you made a sale, it will be in a few spots. If you look under your news tab, it would be under orders. Another place is if you go to the same spot you use to get to your closet, there is a sales section.

d_bradburn @lon0921 2.I took a look at your profile, you are following anyone, those are people following you. Anyone on poshmark can follow anyone unless they are blocked When you add new items or share out your items, these are the people that will seem them on their feeds. I hope all this made sense and answered your questions. Let me know if there is anything else I can help with
