dwilliams1021 @baybay12365 how does the pay work bc when I listed this iteam for $7 it said I'd only make like $4 is that with my fees coverd?

finibybay @dwilliams1021 Yes, what’s subtracted from your listing price is Poshmark’s fee (Poshmark’s cut of your sell). Any item you list that is under $15, Poshmark takes $2.95. Any item $15+ Poshmark takes 20%. Hope this help!!!

finibybay @dwilliams1021 Yes, but you have to be active in the community by following others and sharing other’s items. If you post lots of items at first, you will make sales, but if you lack in the community, it will start to slow. I’d suggested resharing your own items 2-4 times a day, and from time to time completely relisting an item. A good guide to being active in the Poshmark community is Poshmark’s “30 Minute Method.” Google it, it truly helps!

finibybay @dwilliams1021 It’s fine, I love to help! The buyer pays for shipping, unless you offer a shipping discount. In that case, however much you discount from $6.49 comes out of your cut of the sale. The shipping cost applies to both single item and bundle (when someone buys multiple items from your closet) sales, but know that the shipping label only covers 5lbs. You are able to upgrade labels for anything over 5lbs, but the difference comes out of your cut, instead of the buyer paying for it.

finibybay Yes, for the most part the buyer pays the $6.49 shipping cost, unless you give them a shipping discount or upgrade their label. And yes, you will get $4 out of $7, unless you give a discount of some sort.

kimkay78 @dwilliams1021 Hello Danny, You should get a hit on your item when someone searches for it or if someone sees it as a result of you sharing it and they like it. It helps if you share people’s items and they share yours because they get shared to other followers and getting people into your closet can increase the chance of a sale as well. Also, sharing your items using the edit option (edit-next-list) will bring your item to the top of the search list so people see it first when they search.
