bombous_boy @8krayz6 I understand there are large overlaps between paganism and witchcraft with indigenous cultures, I used to be Wiccan and am indigenous (Mohawk and Inuit), I’m certainly not trying to harass anyone so after this I’ll stop. I’m sorry if I upset anyone or hurt anyone with my messages.

bombous_boy I do still believe people should do their research when it comes to their spirituality’s origins to we can help indigenous people end the demonification of their practices and pagans/ witch’s have the ability to do that. I myself am still learning and writing a very long video essay on the difference between appropriation and appreciation and where we fall inbetween.

bombous_boy The comment on the post wasn’t even for the shop owner, it was meant for anyone planning to buy and Its one of those things that indigenous people just want people to know where it comes from and do it properly because right now in Canada (and America) especially we have a huge problem of people taking from indigenous people without giving back.

bombous_boy Dream catchers are good example of this with them being sold in craft shops or fake moccasins being sold out of Levi’s taking not only culture but money out of indigenous peoples pockets. Now I’m not saying thats what y’all are doing ofc I’m just saying this is why its important. I’m still learning and I hope you are too.
