Hey there, my last name is written on the bottom in red marker bcz I donated for use in a fashion show. We had to write our names on our items so they'd know who to return the shoes to! It will wear off after the first wearing on concrete.

I honestly didn't think about it until after I shipped them and was packing up some other items from the fashion shows when I remembered it was on all my items and thought I'd let you know. It's not a permanent marking or damage to the shoe. I wore mine to church and the marking was gone by the time I made it from the parking lot to the front door.
