drdavebourgouin @cankoroglu they were Mach Six. They’re very nice but they’re absolutely replicas. Side by side with a retail pair it is very obvious.

drdavebourgouin @cankoroglu you have three days to accept the item before the deal is automatically finalized. Once you receive it, options will appear to return the item under certain conditions. Authenticity, or lack thereof is one of those conditions. I have filed a return and am waiting for Poshmark to review it. Poshmark protects against counterfeit pretty well it appears.

drdavebourgouin @cankoroglu In our correspondence in the listing the seller guaranteed authenticity. I have not confronted them as the issue is now for Poshmark to resolve to properly recover my money. It’s really not for me to judge whether or not the seller is knowingly selling counterfeit merchandise, anyway. That’s what the Poshmark process is for. All I know is that mine were undoubtedly fake and will be pursuing my full refund. Unfortunate, but hopefully no harm done In the end!

cankoroglu @drdavebourgouin @zee1409 @rlarudska ok my Flight 006’es are here. Definitely feels cheap metal/plastic - vs. Titanium and/or quality alloy. Even compared to some raybans I’ve gots I’m taking them to the retailer tomorrow... jury is out still. But I’m not holding my breath. I think it’ll be night and day evident when you hold them/wear them back to back. I’ll report out tomorrow.

drdavebourgouin @zee1409 the box was a box in a sleeve. Poor quality cardboard. No model markings or stickers. Real Dita boxes open and unfold, not sleeved. Also the case was totally wrong and low quality. Look on YouTube for Dita unboxing videos to see what all that is supposed to look like. Anything else is a dead giveaway they’re fake, at least for the Mach Six

Ask the seller to show a pic of the registration number (not the model number, not the size & color code) etched on the temple.. depending on the model, it’ll be at least 7 or 8 digits, with letters, and some dashes ‘-‘ in between... And as said before, the casing/packaging alone is a dead giveaway... what an **sshole?!!

drdavebourgouin @cankoroglu neither did I. I figure the responsibility now lies with Poshmark to decide what they’re going to do with all of these returns for authenticity concerns. I’m guessing he’s done here. Dude is selling these on other sites judging by the familiar pictures so he’ll keep going with or without Poshmark.

drdavebourgouin @cankoroglu totally reasonable. And point taken. I’ll do the same. Also, those Mach Sixes you posted from the other seller do appear to be authentic. Also, I was quoted $820 after tax from Designer Eyes in San Diego, so they can be had retail for around that same price. Max I’d go on Poshmark would be $600-$650.
