I do have a couple of questions. Quite a few people are Liking me right now. What is the proper etiquette here? Do I like everyone back? Just want to be sure I am doing this properly. Also I have noticed some people make offers that seem pretty low to me so I am wondering if there is an acceptable percentage lower to go if someone makes an offer on something of mine.

@mimi_style58 Offers are huge topic of conversation here! Some people dong mind low-ball offers as any closet activity is good for exposure. However, super low offers can be annoying to others. I’ve even heard that some sellers block people for making lowball offers. I welcome all offers. I also make lowball offers. You never know what a seller might accept until you submit the offer. 🤷🏽♀️

@mimi_style58 You as the seller knows what you’re willing to accept. Just as the buyer knows what they’re willing to pay. Negotiations are fun for me... but not so much for others! So it really does depend on YOUR preference.

@mimi_style58 I prefer the bank account deposit it’s as safe as any other online payment system I’ve experienced thus far. But i also set up a separate business account solely for POSH. Some prefer to not dole out their banking info and opt for the check. It’s really a matter of time vs privacy.

@mimi_style58 Exactly! I don’t know why ppl get so bent out of shape over it. 🤷🏽♀️ Oh and try not to ever outright decline. Worst case scenario: submit the posted cost or repeat your most recent offer. Saying NO or DECLINING is too final for some buyers and they get totally turned off. Try to avoid dismissing potential buyers. 😉

One more question before I begin. Do you have an idea how much time the average person devotes to selling on Poshmark? I work full time so a few evenings and usually one weekend day are all I will be able to post items. As far as communication I’m in the Eastern time zone. I’ve sold on another site and speed of shipping has never been an issue for me.

@rjthompson1011 Thanks for getting in touch. Before shipping I saw that the watch needed a new battery. I ordered one which took up a lot of the time. After putting it in the watch it’s still didn’t work so I needed to cancel the sale. I wanted to get in touch with you but when I sent an email to Poshmark they said to just cancel it. I assumed that you would get some kind of a message about it, but apparently not. My apologies.
