dawnmaciver @zoewee oh my goodness, I specialize in the heme oncs, mostly leukemia. I do the stem cell transplants. I actually just got board certified in that. Such a small world. I’m so sorry your friend and her daughter have had such a battle, I hope she remains in remission. I will keep an eye on your closet, you have gorgeous pieces :)

itsallabout_u Hey Dawn just reading what you do for a living and this means a lot to me because my sister died with breast cancer in January 2012 and her husband died June 20212 with kidney cancer 2012 was a rough year for me just wanted to share this with you my sister had one child a son lil chess he was around 12 when all that took place he stayed with me for a year but he wanted to live in Cali with my other sister

dawnmaciver @itsallabout_u oh wow, that is a rough year. I’m so sorry your family went through so much. I hope your nephew was able to find peace with everything. Cancer sucks. Everyone warned me that Oncology can be a really hard field of nursing, because of all the heartache. While this can sometimes be true, I feel really fortunate to do what I do. I’m involved in a lot of research and clinical trials, and those help me to stay optimistic.
