kindplanetposh @aurorasdawn25 no!! Not at all what I meant. I’ve just noticed you more often recently because you’ve returned to my closet several times to share (thank you) and checked your member date vs community shares and wanted to say how impressed I was.

kindplanetposh @aurorasdawn25 It took me awhile to figure out a good sharing system that worked for me. Once I started self sharing as much as community sharing, it paid off. That’s my only tip. For every 3 items you share from your feed, go back to your closet and share your item 3 times. Back to the feed, share 3 different things, then back to your closet and share your item 3 times.

kindplanetposh @aurorasdawn25 I was given that tip from another posher along time ago and it seems no matter what I’ve tried (share groups, gain followers games, etc.) if I fall back on that share schedule, I do well. Being active during party times, listing new items, self shares, all naturally bring exposure or new followers to my closet.

kindplanetposh Recently I’ve noticed more new poshers have started following me so I assume something I do is keeping me active in the posh algorithm?? Many of us have different opinions of what that is and different goals for participating in Poshmark. I’m here to make a little side $ while being able to afford clothes I wouldn’t be able to otherwise as a single, part time working mom.

kindplanetposh I love the interaction with other people, selling, shipping, shopping—No other app compares in my opinion. Often I notice that people who buy from me never even “like” the listing, they just offer or buy.. so there are all kinds of poshers, sellers and buyers or both. Followers don’t necessarily equal sales here. Maybe if you have a strong presence on other social media platforms it would make sense but sharing is key here - when I return a share I just may be your next customer :)

What’s your overall goal on posh? That will help you decide if sharing is worth your time cause yes, it can take time but it can be fun as well. kindplanetposh Explaining my rule of 3’s:Watch your feed and look for shares that say “@xxxxx shared the following 11 items from 3 closets.” Basically no one will see the 4th to 11th items unless they click on the link provided. I don’t do that. It makes sense to share no more than a few items at a time so they have a stronger presence in the feed as one listing rather than being grouped with several at a time.
