madlovehippie Hi Dawn, thanks for your offers on the POL lace sleeve tee. I can’t go any lower. It’s brand new & still in the manufacturers packaging. It comes from my actual store stock. I don’t sell second hand/worn clothing. I need to cover my cost of the top plus pay poshmark 20% of the sale price in selling fees. Thank you for your understanding. 🌟 Krychelle

madlovehippie @dawn_akins The seller also pays for any shipping discounts after poshmark charges it’s 20%. It ends up costing us more. I’m already at my bottom price - my break even price - after paying the selling fees. There is no profit or wriggle room left. Any less & I’m selling at a loss. I’m explaining all of this as I know you are new to posh & probably don’t know how it works from the selling side.

madlovehippie @dawn_akins Not everything on posh is worn or thrifted clothing. There are many retail sellers too including some big names like Free People & Lucky Brand. They have official closets. You can get great deals on brand new merchandise but you need to be aware of how you offer.

madlovehippie @dawn_akins Rule of thumb is, no offers 40-50% off list price. A seller will generally accept 20-25% offer sometimes 30% if they want to move the item. When you combine this with poshmark fees of 20%, that’s 40-50% off list price. It adds up quickly & can move into a loss for the seller just as fast. Feel free to ask any questions.
