@scarlettboyd they were misrepresented. You described them as ‘like new’ and they’d only been worn twice. Clearly they had mud splashes, what looked like mold and dust on them. They also had tears on each boot where the bend of the foot is on the last of the boot. The cost to have a leather cleaner was more than the boot is worth. Take care.

@scarlettboyd I have REAL BOOTS and when they are ‘like new’, they are new. I don’t deceive people, had you said they needed cleaning, that might have been different but the leather is so dry, I don’t know if you can prevent it from cracking further. I would suggest you post your boots with ALL THE IMPERFECTIONS. Again, take care and good luck with your shop.
