Drummond is an island off the top of the UP. I do get to go to Mack though for work conferences😂 How long ago did you move away? Hope you have a great time on Mack this summer and great weather! tandpsmom @poshmarksla Super glad it worked out! Unfortunately it didn't ship today, our post office is only open from 11-12 on Saturday. I packaged it up and the hubs rushed up there, but with our roads (they don't salt, only sand) he was 5 minutes late, it will go out on Monday! Don't get to excited about my island life. I do NOT live on Mack! I live on Drummond which is shall we say, poorer! The hubs has been to WI for ice fishing before. I don't remember where though

I will give you the poor mans tour of Drummond, via off-road vehicles and an old but BIG and FAST pontoon. The days on the water is what gets me through the winter... that and books and vitamin D! Hope she likes the dress and thank you'

We're nature lovers so when other families are looking forward to big trips to Chicago, NYC, and Disneyland we just go WAY up north in the middle of the woods in a cabin and LOVE it!

poshmarksla @tandpsmom We had bad ice last week but now the temp hit 40 so it's sloppy and foggy since we're close to Lake Michigan. We'll see if snow stays away. I welcome snow at the beginning of the season and spring usually comes just in time. Can't IMAGINE living anywhere that doesn't have the 4 seasons!

poshmarksla @tandpsmom Omg we're addicts! Yeah 6 kids...hard work when they're young but my closest friends now that they're older! I'm one of those anti FB people so I've never had one. As you can see, I'm on here all too often though! My daughter and I looked up pics of Drummond Island, including satellite b/c we wanted to see the extreme forest extent lol. Love it!!! Also love how close you are to Canada. Do you ever cross over to their islands?

tandpsmom @poshmarksla we can get to Canada by water in 20 minutes are so. When I was little we used to dry dock and have picnics on St Joe.... but now to just anchor you have to check in with customs and have a passport... which I do not. We can cruise their waters all day long but can not drop anchor.
