lindamatychak Wanted to thank you for the prompt deliverY of the jeans I purchased from you. I love them! I was wondering as they were new with tags, why you sprayed them with something that had a strong perfume smell? I have difficulty with perfume smells. I’ll need to send these through my washing machine several times to get that scent out before I can wear them. Just passing this along as I’m not the only one that has this As an issue. Hence the advent of scent free laundry detergent.

sewretro @lindamatychak -I’m glad that you liked the jeans. I can assure you that I do not spray any of my items with anything and these were new with tags and as such had never been washed. Any scent that could have possibly been on them started at the manufacturer or the store where they were purchased. However my household will never wear items from the store without being washed first—safety and cleanliness.

fashionsaloon_4 @sewretro Yes, there seems to be quite a number of us selling on Poshmark and other venues. I've been selling online since June 2009 as a hobby. Because I work, I can only share my items on my breaks and an hour a day at home, so I only sell a few items per month. This venue requires more work than the other ones, but it's more popular now.

I have a large storage unit of unlisted inventory, but my friends and relatives tell me to keep selling. Every little bit helps at this point. We desperately need the new system. I've been in the truth most of my life, but I wasn't raised in the truth. I attend the Crenshaw congregation in Los Angeles. I'll keep sharing your items, because I truly love online selling, which is the trend now.

I live in a rural area in East Texas so high dollar items are rare to find. It’s just the thrill of the hunt!!! The extra cash does come in handy. Also, layoffs and hours are cut from all professions including airline pilots, surgeons, nurses, executives, teachers, attorneys, etc. Computers have desperately come a long way, and they are more sophisticated than ever.

Reselling online came generate some extra cash that we all seem to need these days.

sewretro @aandr25 I especially loved the comments made by our local elders. They have certainly taken the information to heart. But we have always had a loving and caring body of elders. Jehovah and Jesus make sure that all of their flock is lovingly taken care of. And please don’t feel obligated to always share my closet. I don’t always get around to all of my “family’s” closets every day. I cannot even find time some days to share my own.

My son has been missing for 2.5 months now and I’ve had to file a missing persons report with the Raleigh Police. A detective has been assigned to his case and they are updating me every couple of days. I recently received some information that is indicating that it doesn’t look too good. I’ve had to rely so much on Jehovah to keep me calm, give me peace and to help me trust in him.

sewretro @fmtqwjx1 I truly don’t know how anyone who doesn’t know Jehovah and his loving provisions of Christ’s ransom and prayer can cope with what all of mankind is experiencing right now. Jehovah is definitely keeping us strong via the faithful slave. The talk “Do Not Let Your Hearts Become Weighed Down” at the assembly was especially comforting. I appreciated the point the brother made when he said, “Our relationship with Jehovah makes a difference in it outlook.”

fmtqwjx1 @sewretro Yes, i particularly benefited from that talk. I remember that point, and writing it down. We’re going to discuss the assembly this Saturday as a congregation. So many of the friends and elders have given me comforting scriptures and thoughts. My favorite scripture now is ISAIAH 30:15: “For this is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel, says:“By returning to me and resting, you will be saved; Your strength will be in keeping calm and showing trust.”

sewretro @maggiebentley2 Thanks so much for checking on me. My family is warm and safe. We only lost power for about 10 hours. We have heat, food, and water and that’s better than so many in Texas. We had our Zoom meeting last night and all in our congregation are doing OK. The roads are still iced over, but at least the snow and sleet is over. Hope you and your family are warm and safe.😊❤️🙏

Though it look some time, many in our family, and beyond, have benefitted from the stand she took. She has been asleep in death for 20 years now. I was raised around it I like to say lol I didn’t make it my own until 2011 and baptized in 2012. sonofathrifter5 @sewretro wow that’s awesome. Fleshy/spiritual family is kind of spread out. My great grandmother brought my aunt into the truth as well as introduced it to my mother. My mother and father studied on and off for years obviously bringing us around it. My dad got baptized and and then my immediate older sister, myself and then my mother. My sister and brother in law are actually special pioneers in Tanzania after going to BSCC. My wife was raised in the truth though.

Some pioneers find it to be a great way to support themselves with the ability to set their own work hours. I’m a third generation JW and am in a smallish congregation in rural East Texas. Eagerly looking forward to the Memorial season and auxiliary pioneering. Also we have our first in-person circuit assembly In March. It will be so wonderful to see old friends again.

I am trying to build my Poshmark business…I pioneer and so does my husband so I would love to quit my job and be able to do Poshmark solely but Im sure that will take time! I was noticing that you have a lot of plus size. Are you plus size or do you just sell plus size?
