luvyorlook It doesn't need to be ,unless you want it to be reversible. That was originally the reason it was made like that... Unless you lived in weather that ,the inside fur and outside material was necessary - I wouldn't think it was worth bothering.. The jacket is about the mink fur and style and ecpxtra warm because of the lining . You can't see the lining at all when you're wearing it as a fur and it still has the xtra warmth of that type of lining more than a satin material😍🙀❤️
