debbiejohnso884 @reginarani thank you!! Yes, I am new this week and have created a number of listings. I am noticing that a lot of sellers use a white background. In your opinion, is this the best way to go? I used my brick fireplace as back drop on most. Do u have any tips and/or can u tell me what is really selling on posh? I have a lot of cute dresses I am marketing. I have moved a couple pairs of my LULULEMON shorts...which is great. Thank you...Debbie

reginarani @debbiejohnso884 you have great photos! I love the white and wood backgrounds. The fireplace backdrop is a great idea and looks amazing with your lighter color dresses, green, white, etc. maybe choose a lighter background for your darker dresses so they can be seen better. Lululemon is a hot item and sells well. Look at name brands that sell on posh parties - they are the popular brands to sell.

fashionbaby97 @debbiejohnso884 Hii, The best way to get things moving is consistency. You have to constantly share not only your items but others as well. This is basically like promoting yourself and grabbing others attention. If you are unable to share daily I would try to come up with some type of schedule .

I would suggest taking pictures of all the items you are trying to sale that way you can just upload them day by day or however you want to do it. I do prefer a white background . Not only does this look more appealing to the eye but it also showcases the item better .

fashionbaby97 @debbiejohnso884 Make sure to always follow people as well. When you are first starting Poshmark you are basically building your clientele so you have to promote , follow and share to get everyone’s attention . I honestly believe anything can sale on Poshmark if you market it right .

I have a question: I myself am not as much into brands as I am into style, color, fit, trends, etc. Do you feel this will be a disadvantage for me in terms of sales with my lack of specific brands in my closet? I just started last week, have 80+listings...all quality attite just not high end brands. Thank you...Debbie
