starbabyonline @donnastreasures - Thx for the welcome! I've been selling online since 1997, but this is the first app-based platform I've used so it is taking some getting used to. Since you asked, I'll take up your offer! I am an excellent photographer with my DSLR, but phone doesn't have the best camera nor is the lighting to my benefit due to wall colors were I am living right now. Is there any way to add listings via laptop where I can use *good* photos rather than rely on my phone's camera?

starbabyonline @donnastreasures - Also, I suppose I am doing something wrong, as the photos I take will not show up full size (which is why I am posting tops of dresses and bottoms, rather than the whole) - seems Poshmark will not let me include the entire photo, but truences it into a crop. Wish there was a way to use a full sized keyboard (or voice!) to enter rather than a phone and using a phone's keyboard is severely limiting to me. Thanks for any help you can offer on either concern.

donnastreasures @starbabyonline You would have to upload them to your computer. If you don't already have one, I recommend getting a free photo storage account where you can upload them to that and then it's easier for you to take them from there and put them into your closet. Another thing you might want to consider if you think it'll help with your phone is to download a free photo editor. That way you can brighten things up or sharpen them if needed.

donnastreasures @starbabyonline Poshmark was made to be a phone app which is why it's difficult. It took me awhile to get used to the picture taking too. You might want to back up a little more before you take your pictures to include the whole picture. As for following and sharing, there's really no substitute. I'm a full-time father so I followed new people and new closets every hour if possible. Following is more important than anything else to get people to check out your closet

starbabyonline @donnastreasures - So no way to use a "real" camera then? Unless I am misunderstanding you. I have a storage account, always have. I am a purist with my photography. I don't like the limiting nature of a cell phone's camera. The shots are crappy, and I am a perfectionist.

starbabyonline @donnastreasures - That's the things I don't get. In my cell camera, I *have* a full size photo. When uploading to Poshmark, it will not accept the full photo - it makes me crop it in half. Maybe I am explaining incorrectly. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to be on my phone every hour. starbabyonline Since you offered to answer questions, I have one for you, @donnastreasures @chicknthesticks or @vozx. I've been buying and selling online since 1997, so I know how to approach disputes when items arrive damaged. However, I don't know the SOP on Poshmark. I saw that I am covered by the PoshProtect guarantee if there is undisclosed damage, but the page doesn't say *how* to contact Poshmark with my documented photos.

starbabyonline Would one of you let me know where I'd find that info? Unfortunately, two of the items I received today in a recent bundle purchase of four items, have damage to them. Neither post said anything about damage, and in fact one said "Only worn once". Ironically, the one item that had documented damage (and that I paid the most for) is just fine with me. donnastreasures @starbabyonline When you go to the section where you can release the money to the seller,you select from the problem list instead. It'll then bring up the page where you could add up to four pictures. Upload your pictures and give them the information you want them to know. They're usually pretty quick. Depending on how much they have to investigate it can take up to 3 business days

vozx Part 2....lol...if they don't buy within the first 5 minutes they aren't coming back...update your closet regularly...move stuff around bring it to the top..keep your most expensive item at the top and to the right..most people sharing will pick the first one on the right...

starbabyonline Just realized I had to make a collage of the photos, because I took too many and went over the jpg amount - lol. I like to give people a fair shake, but these were clearly damaged goods and I took LOTS of pix. On a positive note, one of the pair of shoes I got from that Posher fit like butter on my feet and I am in heaven. I love Seychelles shoes!

chicknthesticks @starbabyonline Yep, let Posh handle it. I email Posh Support so often that it comes up automatically as soon as I type "Po.." They're really good about responding right away. It'll take them a few days to decide, but they're usually very fair. I just went through the same thing, and got a full refund. Good luck!

There was an offer of poshmark credit to keep the items for less than the price I paid for them. Is this normal? One top has a huge tear and will be thrown out - it's unwearable.

starbabyonline The shoes have chunks knocked out in the leather & material torn on the sole.. Was I wrong to assume I'd be asked to return these and get credited back for my purchase? I wouldn't relist the shoes because of the damage, so they'd be donated if anything.

donnastreasures @starbabyonline That's the first response they usually send. You don't have to accept it. If you feel that you need all of your money back because you have to throw the item away then you can respond to them and let them know that. A lot of times they just give you your money back and tell you don't send it back so just make sure that there offering only a portion of your money and not a full refund

donnastreasures @starbabyonline You'd I have to contact Poshmark asking them how they want you to send more pictures. If you hit the problem but again you're going to end up opening another case and that will only cause confusion so just hit the refuse button, and if there's a spot for you to make a comment tell them you want all of your money back

virago Sorry you had this experience. I agree - I would have asked for the refund and not the credit. As for an email to contact them it's the same support address I believe you have been using. If you received a shipping label I would think they don't need any more photos from you. Hopefully as soon as the items are delivered they will credit you within three days. You can always track the package and see when it was delivered,

Also, I've noticed that some people will create a listing that says they're away, spending time with family or sleeping, etc..they put that as the first listing in their closet. southerngal0724 I absolutely 💝 your closet and wanted to address a problem that you and I share about our pix not fitting into Poshmark's frames when listing items. I found a free app called Cymera that is great at editing but I think it's best feature allows you to size your entire pix a either larger or smaller and has about 4 choices. I tend to reduce mine from average to smaller and then the tops and/or bottons aren't cut off Hope this helps and congrats on your weiggt loss🎉🎊.

I have a few conditions which cause chronic pain, so I become unexpectedly unavailable sometimes because of it. If it were 10 or so I wouldn't be overwhelmed. I share/follow a lot, so getting behind 1 day = around 100+ posts to address.

starbabyonline @kimkjc2 - Yep, a glass crashed on the tile floor in my bedroom. I stepped off the bed, and moved aside so I wouldn't get glass in my foot. Bad idea, because the base of the glass also slid to the right and I stepped down on it with all of the cracked glass shooting up into my toe. Doc at the ER said I came within a hair of missing a tendon.

A very well known local artist/muralist live-painted it for me last February at the Tampa Gasparilla Festival of the Arts over three days, in public. If you do a search on Facebook or IG for Carmada art cars, you see all the work done on cars in the Tampa Bay area. I was so incredibly lucky to get picked for this.

thevintagekat The second frame you'll see allows you to post two vertical pictures side by side. This is how I've been able to fit my full length photos (dresses, coats...) into the square format. If you take. Look at one of my listings of a long piece, you'll see a split frame photo. It's great and super easy. :)

There is usually a theme of some kind, such as type of listing (brand or description, like "skirts"), price range, color, or gender. You follow the rules of each group which will be posted in the sign-up or in a Q&A in the closet. (con't)

I'm on every social media platform except one. I'm a tech-geek from way back before there was a WWW. Every type of social media has it's own benefits. It's all what you're looking to use it for.

You’ll then be asked if it’s a boutique item Select yes again & I finish up as you would normally do. Once a list things done you should be able to see in the listing where it says boutique

If you're on the app, it'll be the upper left corner of the of the first far left screen. Look in the upper left corner and you'll see the option you're on. If you press that, all options will come up. Just click on the big P for All. You can access it from search pages as well. It will always be on the left side if you're on the phone app. Maybe not in the corner, but near the top.

If you've not previously bought wholesale, you may find some of those deals you like from some of those sellers.

What I'd suggest is if you're on Facebook, to join one of the larger Posh support groups and ask people who are going where they are staying. That's what I would do. There are a few really wonderful groups.
