@katiebug8424 That “pending acceptance” is frustrating. Some buyers don’t realize that they need to accept in order for you to get paid. But if they don’t accept for 3 days, you will get paid anyway.
Yesterday I had a person find little holes in something I sold her! I’m so embarrassed. I told her to please return it and offered to send something for free to make up for it.

The kid I nanny & tutor for, accused me of taking his phone & reading his text messages (he’s only 10). Lol I handed him the phone when it was buzzing off the hook & looked at his screen from far away & asked if everything was ok & if that was his friends. After his training classes @ Petsmart, they would bring in the new kittens into their training room & he would lay down with them & clean them! ❤️ he’s a gentle soul! I grew up with cats. Having an awful night! The lady who I told you about whom I was doing childcare for & tutoring is now refusing to pay me the $145.00. She even threw out my tutoring supplies! @katiebug8424 We offer 7 periods to students. I teach 5, and have 1 prep period, so the 7th is my “free” period. Sometimes I can even leave during my free period.
This year, I teach 9th and 12th graders. My partner is brand new to teaching. In fact, he turns 26 next week. A baby! This is my 31st year teaching.

They didn’t have a teachers lounge/break room so I had to eat in the cafeteria with the kids...they wanted the teachers to eat their lunch & also keep an eye out on their students during lunch! I left messages and it says she was active today lol. Hmm 🧐. I even put it in a Chanel box & Chanel dust bag! I clearly told her I was an old men’s Express shirt from 2014. Lol. She said I overly messaged her while she was trying to enjoy a vacation & a dying relative. I don’t think people realize we sellers rely on payments. Lol.

Didn’t hear back till many days after it was delivered. She was hounding me with questions about the shirt in the first place too. Now she put that her husband isn’t going to wear it. Lol

The hounding questions she asked before even buying it, some were very odd. She only paid $8.00 anyhow wasn’t like it was hundred of dollars. I did note the year it was from & up close picture.

@katiebug8424 Go to your sales, and find the one. Where it says problems, choose “contact Poshmark support.” There you can send an email.
But my experience is that PM cannot really do anything about it. And the ratings add up, so if you continue to be getting 5 stars regularly, the 4-star one will get buried.

I apologized, and offered to make it right. She preferred to give me a terrible rating. I actually CRIED over that! It hurts my feelings so much to be told I didn’t make my buyer happy.🧚🏻♀️

@debbyjill I got another 4 star rating lol. I totally went out of my way to help a customer by getting a Apple EarPod with a lightening jack end. Lol I even put it in a gift bag too! Lol. Also gave her an extremely big discount. Lol I don’t like these customers who low ball then leave a 4 star review. Lol. She didn’t even let me know it arrived ok or didn’t even communicate after I sent it out. Do these ratings do anything? I don’t see the star ratings just the love notes on the profiles!

Just an FYI since it just happened with an item you have listed. When you raise the price of an item after it's listed, then make an offer, it shows the whole price history to likers and comes up with a negative percent off. It's better to delete and relist. You lose the likes but gain a boost from being "just in". Happy Poshing!

@meanaubergine that’s a really good piece of information... I just don’t remember when I raised the price of an item. Once, when my PFF told me I had a Lucky Brand item listed too low, I raised the price a bit. But I’ve brought it down since. Thank you so much for the advice!

@meanaubergine oh! The boots! Gosh I totally forgot I did that. When I first listed, they were scuffed, so I wasn’t confident they would sell. Then I took them to a cobbler who polished them really beautifully. I guess I should have deleted and relisted now that they look so much better. Thanks again!

@katiebug8424 on your own closet’s page, look at the top right for “followers”. It will just show a number. If you click on that, a list will pop up with a blue button to “follow” anyone whom you have not yet followed. Just run through the list and add them all!
