stacimack157 @debidz Hi Debi! - I actually do everything with my cellphone (taking pictures & creating listings on the app). There's a little camera icon at the bottom of the app. Once, you click that, you'll start creating a listing. It's very easy! After you make a sale, Poshmark will email you a shipping label. Just print that out and box up you sale to ship to your buyer.

debidz @stacimack157 Ok great This process seem similar to eBay without the auctions. One more question how does offers work. I put an offer in for a handbag and I did not get a response, when I went back to check the item was sold. Is that what typically happens. Is it better to just buy without offers. I’m just a little confused about that.

stacimack157 @debidz You did everything right with your offer. Sometimes as sellers, we will get multiple offers on the same item. Since the offer is binding for 24 hours, the seller can choose the best/highest offer for that listing. Also, sellers can send out Offers to Likers to everyone that has hit the "like' button on their listing. So if there are multiple likers, the first person that accepts the offer ends up purchasing it.

debidz @stacimack157 Hi Staci I’m new. I’ve just made an offer on handbag. I didn’t know that once you make an offer the bag is sold to you. Different from eBay. I asked the seller if the bag was authentic and she never answered me and there should Gabe been a Brighton silver ornament on the handbag. Can I cancel that order or am I stuck with it.

stacimack157 @debidz First of all, you're welcome ❤ I just looked at the bag - very cute. You can ask the buyer to cancel the order, but they don't have to do so. So, once you receive the bag, you have 3 days to review it before you "accept it" on Poshmark. If there's a store near you that sells those bags, they should happily look it over for you to let you know it's Authentic. If it is, you're fine! If not, just let Poshmark know. You'll just need to open a claim on that order.

debidz @stacimack157 You’re so helpful. Ok a few more questions. What is the best way to mail handbags. I first one I received was in an envelope a little crushed but I gave her a good review. Is USPS envelopes the normal way to ship. I have some bigger leather handbags. Do I put them in regular boxes such as amazon boxes, or do I use the envelopes. So if I use the envelopes will the shipping label that posh sends will that be sufficient for shipping a larger item.

stacimack157 @debidz You're going to LOVE this tip. You can order FREE Priority Mail Boxes from the post office on usps.com! You can also pick them up from the post office, but the website has a better size variety. Also, you can schedule them to pick up your orders for free as well 😉 just set up an account online. I normally wrap my bags in bubble wrap! Depending on the size of the box, I also sometimes use air pillows.

stacimack157 @debidz Your shipping label from Poshmark covers anything that you use to mail your order (bag/envelopes/box) - as long as the entire package is 5 lbs or less, so you should be fine. ❤
