missbora @slmiller44 Don't get discouraged, I so understand, I've been fortunate that my weight hasn't fluctuation too much over the years, but the aging thing is kind of a shocks for me, so things are shifting 😱. I have started working out again now that work has slowed down and having an accountability partner has helped. My BF and I do the fit board and yoga at 6:30 am everyday and it give my day a kick start.

missbora @slmiller44 I have so much more to add to my closet, but being a bit of a perfectionist it takes time to set up the lighting etc and preparing the items. I have to do a major downsize with in the next few months so there will be much more to come. It's just hard to part with some of these things and choosing what to keep and what to let go😱 isn't so easy for me... then there is the " seeing gorgeous things in other closets" issue!

We have 3 large backdrops we purchased for work that are installed in our garage, I use reflected light (hardware store bulbs in run of the mill average work lights hanging on hooks from the ceiling reflected of a bed sheet) for indirect light, my iPhone 7 and the phone app PhotoToaster. That's it...and a lot of time. ❤

I have one silk top that is a bit large on me but it has more of a cap sleeve, and is Ivory and I took it in a tiny bit in the shoulder.I bought it at Neiman Marcus but have never worn it. I will pack your small navy scarf I'm gifting you with your blouse. Any others you need? I have 3 large drawers full of scarves should really purge a few but I covet my accessories ❤

My sweet neighbor who would have now been 120 years old gave me a jewelry box full of old Mexican silver earrings, brooches and some old gold MMA pieces as well. Still sorting through it all and looking at markings, stamps and deciphering it all. Just wondered. Looking for references etc to help know it's value and history 😍

declynnsgranny @missbora I had 3 within minutes of listing! You have so many more high end items than I do so I imagine you have to deal with it regularly. I think I got one when I listed the DY bracelet. I wont list anything on Craigslist for this reason. I tried to sell a car on it but, only got scammers. I led one on for awhile. He disappeared quickly when I finally told him I was a prosecutor! (Which I was in a previous life)

I bought the dress I listed at the Fort Worth Stockyards. It was the last one so I bought it knowing it was a little small. Really thought I could get a couple of pounds off to be able to wear it! Should have known better!!

I am a clothes horse and love the things I’ve owned and worn and taken extremely good care of everything, so it’s personal. I have had a very slow time for some months now but in saying that I had major surgery 8 weeks ago and haven’t been able for a while now to give my closet the attention I normally do. Sales have been way down but I think it has been that way for a number of people as well.

I like to keep my photos clean without additional wording as I think they speak for themselves and I think I only have one stock photo in my entire closet. I love taking the pictures and I believe consistency is key so your closet has continuity. I’m flattered that you should ask for my opinion and advice. You are doing great! missbora @practicalluxe I just turned 65 yah for Medicare! It’s crummy when you still think and act like you did 25 years ago but you have a hard time convincing your body to believe it. I’ve lifted heavy floral arrangements my entire adult life and all that lifting left me with some compressed discs which I had fused, all is well and I am feeling good again. Getting old is not for the weak for sure LOL

missbora @ally_marc thanks! We did just the opposite, left our home in Bellevue, WA and followed our daughter, son in law and precious grandsons to Bend OR. We have 3 generations under one roof and will soon be in an addition on the property. My husband was an architectural engineer until retiring, 15 years my senior and I’m your husband’s age, but still have my hand in design work even though I’m supposed to be retired.
