I apologize for the envelope having been ripped open. Obviously it was not initially shipped in that state. I am not sure if you have mailed anything in a box recently but that drastically increases the cost of shipping and would have made it well closer to 10 dollars. You paid for an item that I received around 10 dollars for. The 6.49 barely Covered the cost of the weight of the shipping of your item in the mailing envelope.
