unbreakableme Hi, thank you so much for purchasing my Tory Burch. I was new and didn’t know where and how to message you after your purchase to say thank you. About your question, no there is no strap, the hook is on the tote just like some newer brands of tote bags, I believe they put it there because of the current trend of attaching chain strap to bags to be used as cross body or something. I have a Gucci tote with those hooks on both sides and it didn’t come with any strap. Thank you for the rating hun.
