styleongreen Hello Debra The Tadashi evening dress you purchased new with tag had been stored for almost a year in a Tadashi dress bag. Perhaps the smell you noticed was from the poly bag it was stored in. As with all clothing that is new with tags, even those purchased from retailers should be cleaned as one does not know if the body trying on was not up to a high standard. I hope you enjoy the beautiful Tadashi dress and you will surly look as beautiful wearing it. Style on Green

If you end up choosing to purchase the other pair of the Nadri earrings I just want to let you know that the packaging will be SLIGHTLY different -- still will come in a gift box but I am not sure that it says Nadri. Also, I countered at the same price you paid for the previous pair. Thanks!
