grinandwearit @awesomeclothing Yes, it'll be a crazy day. My daughter is as wild as I am, lol. She has just become a Roller Derby skater and has a meet today, first one and I can't wait!!!! She rides moto-cross and BMX bikes, crotch rockets, yet she is a hair and make-up stylist and does magazine photo shoots too, hahaha. She's just turned 26 (I had her when I was 40) and we are the best of friends. And, it was very fun meeting you too!!!! I WILL get back to you for sure!

lex1952 I am afraid the dress has deteriorated since I wore it for my son's wedding! It is a real shame because the skirt looks great. Check out the Phyllis dress and matching coat? Didn't realize until researching that there was a line of clothing called the Phyllis Look - inspired by Phyllis Diller the late comedian. In addition I have a 100% silk Anne Klein short-all and coat.

sebq When he was in U of M the dr attempting to put in a defibrillator/pacemaker cut his aorta and had to abort. Now he’s in Cleveland Clinic. Thank God. He goes back in 9/12 for lung surgery for suspicious nodes and if all is well transplant dr is putting him on top of list for a heart. Ok. Going to measure my long dresses to check. 5 min, promise

The shifts I’ve been Working are anywhere from 8 to 16 hours.... just ridiculous. But I’ll be done with this torture after midnight Friday. Everything will be packed up and sent out Saturday. awesomeclothing @wearablevintage hi! It’s so sad that so many wonderful small shops have had to close their doors since the pandemic came into our lives. But the “chain” thrift places are still alive and well.. parking lots always seem full :). Im very fortunate to have held on to my shop for dear life, and folks come in and let me buy vintage directly from them. It sounds like we both have the “vintage bug” & hope we never lose it!
