I appreciate your interest, but offering $25 for a $68 bag is not at all appropriate. I typically outright block anyone who lowballs like that from my boutique. As a courtesy, because it looks like you're new to this platform, I countered. If you'd like to submit a reasonable offer, I may consider it.

With all do respect I’ve purchased some items at 1/2 off already by submitting low offers.... you never know how low the seller is willing to go on used or pre owned items ... some seller prices are very high and not realistic as well
The counter offer system shows the buyer the sellers bottom line .. That’s what this platform is all about... if you would have come back with 50 I would have accepted...

@dbush94 I don't offer discounts like that to people who lowball me. If you think it's a great negotiating tactic then fine, continue to do it all you like, but you're going to lose way more than you win being that rude to people. I might have accepted if you'd offered $50, but after lowballing me, I'd never give you that massive of a discount, ever.

Oh and NO, the offering system is not there to "show a buyer a sellers bottom line"! It's there to facilitate a negotiation between the two. That's like saying it's there to show a seller a buyer's top dollar. That doesn't make sense at all. It is not meant to be a one sided tool in your favor. You'd probably get much bigger discounts if you didn't insult sellers. Most sellers will never give as low a price to someone who make a rude, lowball offer as they would to someone who was reasonable.

I just spent $1200 this week revamping my whole wardrobe ..all 30 items I got for 40-50 % less then what people listed...and everyone was very gracious and negotiated with me...it’s definitely your loss..
You are the only one who commented and lost out my friend .. it’s mostly used merchandise .. as a seller gotta be prepared to negotiate even if you think the starting is low ....
