Meet your Posher, Debra

Hi! I'm Debra, but if you’re from New York you can call me Debbie! ;) I’m a professional photographer and face painter armed with degree in theatre and a background in costuming, but I passionately stand my ground in declaring that my most useful and influential education was in fact my 1980s high school years flipping through every single fashion magazine I could get my hands on. Some may call it frivolous, I argue that it is this that trained my eye in understanding color, light, texture, design and composition. At 18, I dropped out of fashion school, but I never fell out of love. It is that love that brought me thrifting and collecting clothes that inspired me to photograph them in whatever way I saw fit. Some clothes made their way on to me, others made it into my photos, and some will land here waiting for their next adventure! I really, really love clothing and fashion and am excited to see how selling on Poshmark will fit into what I already do. Thank you so much for stopping by!
