rkymtndiva @tappytee I’ve been a night owl since middle school! Quit a few years ago!!!😂😂😂 I went in to have my L4-5 fused, what the surgeon found was that I needed to have the L3-4 fused also that didn’t show up on any tests.. the 3 hr surgery went to 7 really quick!!!! What type of back problems do you have?

tappytee @rkymtndiva Does this mean you have to have another surgery? How long has it been since this surgery? I have spinal & cervical stenosis,arthritis & a couple bulging disks. With the stenosis I get spasms & fall sometimes. I fell & did a spiral fracture to my femur. 4 operations, lots of PT & 2 yrs in wheelchair. Hang in there, my good thoughts are coming your way.

rkymtndiva @tappytee Thank you so much!! Do you have a spine doctor? I shouldn’t need surgery again. My surgeon also works with my pain doctor to make sure everything is good. I had been going to a pain doctor for about 15 yrs and in January figured out that he was just a pill pusher and I have wasted about 12 yrs of my life I can’t get back. He has always told me that I had degenerative disc disease and it would get progressively worse!!

rkymtndiva So I went to my moms back doc back home, he took his own tests and said this is what he fixes all the time and that if I followed his plan to get well, he could make me better!! I did and here I am, two weeks out of surgery and I don’t have the excruciating headaches I have had for years to start.. I’m getting ready to go to PT and will have 6 was of that... I should be good in about 2-3 months. I think it’s going to be worth it.

tappytee @rkymtndiva No, I don't have a spine doctor, we live in a little town & specially docs are about 2 hrs or more away. (Which we had to travel to for a couple of my surgeries). How did your pain doc make you loose 15 yrs of your life? That totally sucks!!!! (such a way w words I have.....)

rkymtndiva @tappytee LOL LOL😂😂😂😂, that’s ok, I get it!!! My 1st pain doctor I went to only gave out pills, he tried a couple of steroid injections and those didn’t work. My surgeon and my new pain doctor told me that, the old pain doctor had me on such high levels of pain medication that they were going to have to write a letter every time they prescribed me meds, to the DEA so that they would be approved.

rkymtndiva I lost 15 yrs because of being on such high doses of medication. I’m just now getting to where I remember things. I’m hoping the drugs didn’t screw with my ST/LT memory too bad so that it will all come back. If I would have been fixed when everything started, my life would be totally different now.

rkymtndiva How big is the town you live in. My doctors are in Cheyenne WY with a population of 65k and my town has a population of 7k. You would need to research the docs and check to see if any have traveling docs, they are all over here in WY, CO, NE,and 4 other states I think.🤔🤔🤔🤔

tappytee @rkymtndiva Good Afternoon - just wondering, when do you sleep 😴? Our town is about 4,000. My husband & I are both looking for pain management docs. We can't get pain meds here in Lake County. Closest we'd have to travel is about 2 hrs. (my husband is disabled). Thank you for the idea of checking into traveling docs. rkymtndiva @gemsrpretty Thanks sweetie!!!🌸🌸🌸 just trying to get the pain down from an 8. My surgeon told me to take a little time because I’m only 3 weeks out of surgery and it was very invasive.... I guess I’m just impatient!!!😳😳😳😳😳 but I start pt on Monday and we’ll figure out then if I will be able to go 3 times a week or 2. We’ll see... 😂😂😂😂 Did you have a good 4th? Did you do anything specific? Do you have kids?💕

My fur babies make me smile every day.
