basicthreads Hi Denise please return the skirt if you're not satisfied. I thought it was obvious that it was uneven at the bottom from the photos. Sorry that I did not put that in the description. I would not call the color brown. One side is burgundy and the other is tan. I'm not sure if possible let you return it but I guess you could try. I think a one-star is not a fair rating though. I don't believe the color was included
