trinka32 Hi Derek, I was getting your shoes ready to pack and noticed a 1/4" slit in the back lining of the right sandal & it does go the whole way through the lining. I'm concerned that it may wear in that area quickly. I can put a pic of it for you to see the slit or I can cancel the order if you prefer. So sorry I had not caught it before. Just let me know what you would like to do.

trinka32 Derek, as I mentioned above there is a small 1/4" slit in the leather lining inside the heel of one of the Cherokee sandals. My husband was able to find a leather repair/sealer which is specifically made to repair/seal the cuts in leather shoes, purses, furniture Etc. I should get it in the mail on Monday. So I will make the repair at that point. It is still up to you whether you decide to go ahead with the purchase of course. Have a great weekend

trinka32 Derek, the repair/sealer worked amazingly well so I sent the shoes right out. I put the info, in your shoebox, for getting the repair kit yourself if you ever need it for any leather or vinyl repairing.

trinka32 Hi Derek, looks like you'll be getting your shoes today so I wanted to add a bit of information if you need it. Obenauf's Boot Oil conditions and protect leather from dry rot. Also, Neatsfoot oil will protect and condition leather as well and it also darken the leather color..it if you want that. Neatsfoot oil will also allow the leather to stretch if you need the shoes to be a bit larger. Hope you love wearing the shoes/sandals!
