styled1979 @carmichael23188 I can not... but also, the lower your end sale is less money for them to take. so, you end up paying them less to sell your item. do you have these listed on any other sites?

styled1979 @carmichael23188 well, I understand profit margin... but, if I were to do the $75, with tax and shipping I'd be almost to $90. which would make the purchase not even really worth it for me seeing as I still have to put time, effort and materials into bringing the shoes back to life. and, used shoe sales are crazy soft. so even after I did all that, if I decided to sell them instead of keeping them, they're only worth about $90-$110 just because they're used.

carmichael23188 @styled1979 I understand what you are saying. But everywhere else you would pay tax as well. It's hard to find these in good condition. An yes, it's less money they take out but also less money for me in the in. An if you find them for 90-100 you would then have to pay taxes and you would pay more.

carmichael23188 @styled1979 I can't cut my price because of "taxes" on your end. That's unfair for me. I do have to buy them, take pictures and post them. Selling for _50 and I only get $40 would be fair. I'm a disabled veteran and do this to make money.

styled1979 @carmichael23188 I appreciate the sacrifices you made for this country. I believe no person who served their country should be struggling in life after their service and definitely think they should cease having to pay taxes. having said that, this isn't about the taxes. I'm not trying to get you to cut the price due to that.

styled1979 @carmichael23188 I'm saying that it's not like you bought them for 60... and you have to charge 90 to make your money back. but, if I bought them here for $75 and paid shipping and taxes on them, I'd never make my money back because I'll spend another $80 in time and materials cleaning them up and reshaping the shoe. there is no profit in it at $75. I'd be willing to come up to $55. but, any more wouldn't make sense.

styled1979 @carmichael23188 honestly, $65 I'd a good price. but for me, that still is a bit too steep for what I'm gonna be putting into it to be able to make it right. I'm not saying they're not good shoes I'm just saying they're worn. and no matter how much I clean them and get the creasing out of the midsole and hazing from the bubbles, the soles are 90% gone. if you wanna do $55, I'll do it. but, if not that's fine too. I still appreciate you and hope you make it in this world.
