michnguy Hey Devyn! I noticed you purchased a red Gucci bag a few months ago and I had a question. I recently bought a Gucci bag from that same buyer as well but I’m feeling a little sketchy about the authenticity of the bag. Did you have any issues with your purchase? Any info would be helpful, thanks!!

devvyyy @michnguy hi love! So I definitely thought that buyers account got deleted because Poshmark could not authenticate the bag :( and when I clicked on the listing it wasn’t there anymore. They sent the bag right away and were very friendly. Unfortunately I never got to receive the bag. Hope this helps!

devvyyy @michnguy hey hun, I was just looking at their page and if you bought the bag for 450 posh will NOT authenticate it for you. They only do orders for $500 and up. My suggestion to you would be to go to a consignment shop and pretend you want to sell it and see if they call the bag out or not. If they suggest it’s fake you can return the bag as Poshmark does not allow knock offs to be sold on here.

devvyyy @michnguy So you’ll have some sort of safety net in the situation. I don’t think the Gucci store will authenticate for you as they obv want you to buy from them. I bought a LV once on posh and tried to take it into the store and they would not authenticate. I hope this helps!

michnguy @devvyyy yea that’s what also made me so suspicious was that she sold it right below the $500 mark. So I received the bag already but haven’t “accepted it” and already reported it as not authentic so Poshmark will review it. I sent some pictures in to provide some proof that it wasn’t authentic but I have to admit that it’s a really good fake. I had to do some hard investigating lol but if poshmark can’t confirm it then I’ll go to the consignment store like you said!

devvyyy @diana1234beauty hi love, I received it and opened it and I’m so sorry to say it does not smell right. I have the same perfume and it’s running out, that’s why I ordered this one, and the smell of yours is different. I know it’s not expired because you only had it 3 months but I’m not sure what happened. Maybe something with the post office? I’ll have to return it:( I feel so bad because I know all of this is not your fault
