tofugirl217 @teamaddison Hi there, I have a question about sales tax. One of my potential buyer wants to know how that is taken care of and who takes care of it. I sold an item last week and it didn't come up so now that the question has been asked, I'd like to know myself. Thank you for any help you can give me. ☺

teamaddison @tofugirl217 There is no tax paid by either buyer or seller when an item is sold. Poshmark takes a 20% commission from the seller and the buyer pays for shipping. The price they see on an item is the price they pay plus the cost of shipping. ❤️

Considering it would go to poshmark concierge for authentication, I'm not sure why they would need it. Is this a normal request? Tks so much for any insight.

teamaddison @tofugirl217 Hello. 🙂 I do not specialize in high end items. I would say this is personal preference. If you're comfortable showing them a redacted receipt you can. Or you could nicely comment and say the item will go to Poshmark for authentication prior to them receiving the item so it is guaranteed to be authentic. ❤️
