Hi Diana! I am so sorry that you were disappointed in the sweater. I had it hanging in my cedar closet. I never use moth balls so I am not sure where that smell came from? The sweater was never worn and as you can see cost over $100. I am sure that if you throw it in the dryer with a fabric softener sheet for a few minutes on air dry, it will be fine. Again, I am so sorry - I assure you all of my clothing is clean!

@bark11 I washed it on gentle cycle and let it hang outside to dry then put it into the dryer with the dryer sheet! Much better now. Since you were kind enough to suggest a solution (excellent customer service btw) I'm gonna go change my review. Thank you!!

Good Afternoon - I am so sorry you weren't completely satisfied with your purchase - The item came from a smoke free home and was something I had bought for myself and had never worn so it really puzzles me as to how it smelled like smoke. I am sorry again. Traci
