Hello Diane. Thank you for your purchase of the winter black boots. I’ve been tracking the package and can’t understand why it’s taking so long to arrive to you. I shipped it on the 17th (1 day priority) and I see it still hasn’t arrived. Might be the weather, but can’t be sure. I truly appreciate your understanding for the circumstances I can’t control. Have a fantastic Poshmark day!

@gunnyrocky thanks for your note. Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow. How was it sent and from where?

@shenandoey Poshmark creates the shipping label when an items sells. I noticed it was identified as 1-day priority mail (USPS). I admit, I didn’t notice your purchase for 3 days (my fault) but packaged up the boots on 16 Jan and dropped it off at the post office in Crofton, MD. It started tracking on the 17th and I received notification of an expected delivery date of 19 Jan. I checked the tracking this morning, as of today, in Merrifield, VA. I’ll provide tracking number for your visibility.

@gunnyrocky thank you, received. Love the boots. Only problem is they have a very strong perfume fragrance. Hope that subsides quickly.

@shenandoey thrilled they finally arrived. Not sure about the fragrance smell. Maybe something spilled on the box.

@gunnyrocky did you send the boots in plastic wrapping? I’m wondering whether a spill happened in transit and the usps placed the box in alternate packaging, or whether it was stored with something containing the fragrance before shipment. It’s a problem. I had to toss the smelly packaging and am storing the boots in a plastic bag with a product I purchased that is supposed to eliminate odors. I’m hopeful that works, because I do love the boots. But if it doesn’t, I won’t be able to keep them.

if I remember correctly, I placed the box in a shipping sleeve. I’m uncertain if USPS repackaged if damaged occurred in transit. USPS did have the package in excess of the timeframe expected for delivery.

UPSP had possession of the package for 7 days although the distance between Crofton, MD and Arlington, VA is roughly 25 miles and label was 1 day Priority Shipping (generated by Poshmark).

I recently received a box shipped UPS that was completely saturated and destroyed, literally falling apart. Two of the clothing items were wet wreaked of vinegar. However, UPS did not repackage, but just delivered the box and contents in the state described.

Does it appear USPS repackaged the box?

@gunnyrocky I immediately put the packaging in my trash bin, which was picked up yesterday because I really couldn’t stand to have it in the house. So can’t describe precisely. But the shoe box was inside a plastic wrapping that didn’t look like a common mailing pouch - maybe light blue tinted? The box was intact but didn’t appear in great condition.

@shenandoey strange. I used a white shipping sleeve. Box was not in pristine condition, but not miss shaped, to the best of my recollection. If you’re leaning towards returning, it has to be processed through Poshmark app. I don’t have the ability to do it on my end. I believe there is a timeframe for which this can be done. I don’t recall exactly what it is.
