pappasdonna @cooky812 good morning my daughter set up my account and wanted a different name and photo is that possible? Do I have to start a new account? Also totally new to this and do need some help please. I respond to the offer? Then u send the label I send to you then you send to people? Do I just buy envelopes to send to you?

cooky812 @pappasdonna , you can set up another account if you are not happy with your user name but Poshmark frowns on duplicity and multiple users accounts by the same person. I have reached out to the help desk myself about creating another account. They told me to notify them in advance of my new user name etc; but I never did create a new one. I will answer your next question in a different comment due to word limitations.

cooky812 @pappasdonna when you get an offer on something you have for sale you can accept it or counter. The buyer completes the transaction and you get notified in your email that your item has been purchase. At the bottom of the email is your label document you will open and print, then prepare your item for shipment and put the label on the package. There are some really good instructions in the help section of this website.

cooky812 @pappasdonna You can get free mailing envelopes and boxes all marked with “Priority Mail” at the post Office but make sure you get the correct boxes.

cooky812 Hello again, first of all Pappas is a great name. I grew up with a Greek community just down the road from me and there were Pappas and Pappagallos. cooky812 @pappasdonna , Getting lots of followers takes a little time but can be accomplished by attending themed posh parties and sharing your items to the appropriate designations; as in if you have several items of Michael Kors, make sure you attend and share your items. Attending the parties gives your items exposure and also people will share your items. You must be dedicated to sharing not only your items but others as well.

cooky812 @pappasdonna , Sharing is a huge part of the process and I have found having bargain pricing and bundling discounts works best for me. When I first started I wanted to recoup a larger portion of the $ I had in my personal clothing. I kept thinking what I had paid for the item and what great shape it was in and priced it with that in mind. I got a few sales, especially on certain brands. My real boost came was when I changed the way I thought about pricing.

cooky812 @pappasdonna, I have always donated my clothing and got a receipts for tax purposes. I started pricing thinking if I can price low enough just to make a few dollars and get rid of some of the things I have I will be happy. Sometimes people offer you so little that you actually lose money on the time it takes to wrap the item nicely, the cost of the tissue paper and the gas to go to the post office. If that is the case, I would rather donate and get the tax benefit.

cooky812 @pappasdonna , So my advice in summation is to attend the parties and share your items as well as others, this will generate followers. Make comments to others, community supporters can really help you in the world of Poshmark. Your closet is beautiful; but I would reconsider my pricing unless you only want to attract those with deep pockets. There are lots more buyers looking for a bargain than those with deep pockets. I hope this helps🤗

pappasdonna @cooky812 one other question......do u find a particular time of day to post new listings better than others or day of week? Also same for sharing? Do you hare your own things other than at a party.

cooky812 @pappasdonna You can share at any time with your followers, but unless you have a lot of them your best opportunity is with the parties. Posting items can be done at any time because it will show up in the feed. More exposure comes from sharing your items during the appropriate party because you get real time exposure but your shares will be included in that particular party category and it remains available for people to view post party.

sherylroush The gal that you want to buy the shirt from, that is a scammer, you can tell she is one too buy looking at her profile, she has no sales, just new this month to Poshmark and has a few listings which are all in variety of sizes. Always check out sellers profile. She has created several accounts with different names but same pic. Be careful you you deal with
