cheryl0506 @bluesky07 My parents and lots of other family members are still in Gainesville. I moved away when I was 18 and have lived in west central Texas for more than 40 years. The scenery isn't nearly as pretty, but we don't have the humidity! Our family made a trip to upstate NY when I was a kid. It is beautiful.

bluesky07 @cheryl0506 I guess we don"t like big cities lol. First lived down Pompano Beach then Vero Beach . too much traffic so we ended way up here . Horshoe Beach is about a half hour drive straight down our road. We miss alot of storms . Yes humidity is terrible. My hubby had open heart surgery 3 yrs ago and now on oxygen 24/7. I have severe arthritis both hips and use a walker. Been a crazy Winter too. I hope you had power where you live. Must of been horrible.

cheryl0506 @bluesky07 The joke in Abilene is that we have a 10 minute rush hour! I do miss the beach. We went to Crescent Beach (south of St. Augustine) when I was growing up. My husband had open heart surgery 5 years ago and he has ankylosing spondylitis, a form of arthritis. My mom has had RA for almost 40 years, so I can empathize with you. Is it ok if I pray for you and your husband? We were blessed to have electricity the entire time of the frigid weather. We had two days that dipped below 0!
