Hi, I am the mother of two adult children & four rescue dogs. I started by selling items from my families closets. I love being able to help others acquire unique items. I sell quality pieces, new or like new, some vintage items. I started selling on Poshmark to help fund the publishing of my Children's books. My Name Is Skwonky and I do Bite, available on Amazon. donnabroome2 @smt1818 If you would like you can filter by size. In the top right corner there are two icons. One icon is a funnel, and the other icon is of two arrows. The funnel icon will let you filter your search to find what you are looking for, without having to scroll through every item. You can filter and choose XL and then go back and choose 1x. I hope this helps.

donnabroome2 @smt1818, I started with cleaning out the closets in my own home, which embarrassed to say, gave me my first 150 items. I started listing twenty items a day, until I got to 400. I’m getting ready to do a closet clean out, trying to learn how first. I’m new at this, only four months in.

donnabroome2 @smt1818 all you need is sunlight from a window, & a white wall. Or you can buy white poster paper & make a white area, using thumbtacks or by laying them on a floor. White is the ticket, and if you have a white item, use the black poster paper. Buy a LED daylight lightbulb and pop in your overhead light. Hope this helps.I only purchase new or like new items.I don’t sell anything that I would not buy or wear.

smt1818 I bought the cutest like new item 😕 Nope they must of worn them without socks quite often, cause even with socks they stink like nasty feet. Cause Poshmark wants an immediate response that you received the package. So without wearing them I felt pressured to rate the seller. 🙄 So live and learn. I'm 52 and still learning. Would you take a peek at my closet and maybe give me Advice. If you have time. I know I need more clothes, but I've only received 2 likes NO OFFERS. Thank you.

If I were you, I would get a white background ( poster paper works) better lighting, and take as many pics as they allow. some items do not look good on a hanger. lying flat works for those. pictures really do say a thousand words when selling

I have had MANY packages lost since I've been selling on poshmark. The purse is really beautiful, it makes me sad when something I have sold never reaches my customer.

donnabroome2 @calidoki, yes, lots of experience. especially when you list something above $70-$80. Never do business with them. Never email them. I politely tell them yes, the item is available through Poshmark and I do not send emails. You don't really need to answer them, Poshmark sees these and deletes them. I've had many! Be safe, If someone wants something they will buy it or make an offer.

cococamello Hi, I clicked on your name because it said ambassador and mentor. I'm fairly new so I don't know how to navigate the site. I'm following those that follow me and I always share my followers listings but where does it go? All of these people following me...what does that mean? I don't see emails or notifications of new listings by these sellers. All I see are those that like an item in my closet or have shared it. But "SHARED" to who? I never see things shared to me. donnabroome2 @cococamello, Posh can be kind of confusing. MOST IMPORTANT, share your OWN closet!!! Follow people. Share your closet a few times during the day but especially at night! I get sales from late night sharing. 9pm until 2am. If you are ever up that late, especially Friday nights! I follow at least 100 people a day. I Have almost 80,000 followers so when I share an item, they all see that item. Be patient, it took me a year to start getting consistent sales.

cococamello @donnabroome2 Thank you for the tips. What bothers me the most about how Posh operates is that they delegate how much of a discount and when you're allowed to promote it. I will offer a discount to likers and it'll say it was NOT sent to any likers and I should lower the price. I think they make way too much money off of us already to manipulate our earnings that way. But we have the choice to sell on here so...
