When you start your closet, make sure you share share share! Also look for those Poshers that have 10K followers and follow them, plus follow their followers, you will be surprised at how quickly you will gain an audience! Michelle sorry to bother you with these silly questions, I’m helping my mom out with this; Michelle she wants to know; when the moment comes and she sells something does my mom have to weight the items like clothing, shows, jewelry or anything she sells or does the mail or UPS mail does that? Another thing can you sell anything on Poshmark? when I took a look around other profiles I Only saw clothing and accessories.

vikingbreed @haydeeville no worries at all. You don’t need to weight anything unless you think it is over 5lbs. If it is over 5lbs, there is an option to print a label that is over 5lbs. The rule is that you shouldn’t sell anything that you can’t wear. A lot of people sell other things, but it isn’t backed or guaranteed by Poshmark, so if the buyer wants to send it back, Poshmark won’t back you up. Let me know if that answers your question. haydeeville @mishatanner Michelle again, Sorry with these silly question. So what I’m understanding is that there is a refund between the seller and the buyer? Sorry again to ask my mom wants to get started listing items on the page just want to have all the facts and rules.

vikingbreed No, the sell will still go through Poshmark and Poshmark will collect the money. You just run the risk of the buyer not wanting the item and instead of Poshmark reviewing it and siding with you, they will automatically refund the buyer (after the buyer has sent back your item and it is not damaged). Once you approved that you received it back without any problems, then Poshmark will refund the buyer.

haydeeville @mishatanner Michelle I’m so sorry, I feel so embarrass for asking so many question; hopefully this will b the last. Michelle yesterday my brought something to my mom n I attention. Say my mom sells an item for $25 plus the shipped, what percentage does Poshmark get? I try looking for that. Again I’m so sorry bother with these silly questions.

vikingbreed @haydeeville No worries at all. For all sales under $15, Poshmark takes a flat commission of $2.95. You keep the rest. For sales of $15 or more, you keep 80% of your sale and Poshmark's commission is 20%. Once your sale has been delivered and received by your buyer, the earnings from your sale are yours.
