kevpatterson @dizodon well. I do professional shoe restoration so if you want me to remove the creases I’ll take care of most of them. It’s hard to get all of them because of the way the shoe is made but I will get them right for you before I ship. I take the creases out of mine all the time. This series is just prone to crease. It doesn’t take away from them while wearing it just is one of those irritating things to see when holding.

kevpatterson @dizodon they are in really good condition. I was on the fence about keeping them because they are the 2005s and they just get more expensive every year but I have 100+ pairs of shoes so I need to share the love

kevpatterson @dizodon I just can’t love all on one pair. I have to spread it out. lol. I really have to stay @ $150. I’m only going that low because I know you want them and I’m feeling generous. I know I will not go that low on these again. I’m having second thoughts now but I don’t go back on my word so I will honor the deal until it expires.

dizodon @kevpatterson well, the re-released and they’re used.. DS, I could see why you’d contemplate, but with creasing, and having requests from the buyer that you do any kind of restoration.. The more love spread, the better

kevpatterson @dizodon I understand if you can’t but that’s a great deal on these. I’ll just hold out. I already sold one pair in this year for $200 on a different site and they didn’t have the box. The older shoes just increase in value as the new releases come out and a couple creases on a 13 year old shoe isn’t going to take away from the demand. I’m going to hold at $150

kevpatterson I’ll get your shoes out for you on Monday. I was OOT today. I do have a question. I know you wanted me to take the midsole creases out best as possible but do you want me to re clear coat the midsoles. Because of the age of the shoes the midsole clearcoat starts to “yellow”. Some people like to leave it and some don’t. It’s up to you but I can redo it if you want me to and it will stay white a lot longer. Let me know no later than Sunday so I will have time. Thanks again for the purchase.

kevpatterson I’m just a little OCD about my shoes. I fix factory imperfections when I get new ones. Anyways. You’re getting some nice shoes. I’m having some separation anxiety already and I still have them. Lol. Just let me know what you want me to do before shipping them.

dizodon @kevpatterson The main issue is the creasing of the top side of the shoes, which is what you told m you can fix.. But removing the creasing of the midsole, won’t that alter the off-white patent material? But all in all, If it mean that the shoes lifespan would increase, I’d like to you to do what whatever’s in your power, as long as it doesn’t damage or alter, but rather improves the originality of the shoe

kevpatterson @dizodon they midsoles aren’t patent leather. That’s just the way they age which was what I was referring to. I will hook them up for you. I’ll get them out to you first thing tomorrow

kevpatterson @dizodon so after some contemplation and respect for the original shoe I decided not to remove the OG clear coat on the midsoles. After doing some additional research it’s what separates the 2005s from the other retros and it adds character to them in my opinion.

kevpatterson @dizodon i did clean them and add finisher to preserve them. I also removed the creases as best as possible. The upper as you know is a softer leather and the remainder of the creases go away when you wear and tie the shoe. All in all they look great and I hope you are happy with them. They will be missed. Don’t judge. Lol.

kevpatterson I just got your rating and you do realize that affects my Posh status. You can message me anytime if you had any questions. There is not any separation on the shoes and I didn’t touch up anything. They are exactly what I told you. I could have removed the old clear coat and replaced but it wouldn’t have the off white look that you liked. I gave you a great deal on them and deserved a better rating than a 3. I could have sold them for a lot more than you got them for.

kevpatterson Also. I shrink wrapped them for you because I thought it would be a nice thing for me to do. Feel free to open them they are yours. And then you will see there isn’t any issues with them.

dizodon @kevpatterson I just got back from NY, hadn’t gotten the shoes yet, so I never accepted them. Poshmarks ideal window for communication (72 hrs) had closed, so they accepted it for me. Seems Poshmark requires you to rate a seller prior to reconnecting with them upon receipt of package. Regardless of my attempts, I couldn’t contact you prior to rating you. I could alter my rating later, so I chose to express my honest opinion, talk with you, then alter it after if needed.

kevpatterson @dizodon I appreciate the communication. Keep in mind you can always go to a post of something that I’ve already sold or any of my posts and send me a comment. I always try to be upfront and honest about what I’m selling and I was in constant communication with you before I shipped them. I even fixed some of the stuff on the shoe for you per your request. You won’t find anyone else who would do that for you on used shoes.

kevpatterson @dizodon I was trying to provide excellent customer service because I can work on shoes. Also, There’s not any separation on the shoes so I’m not sure why you would say that before you even unwrapped them. Ratings affect my status so I try to be as upfront and honest as I can.
