mischiefmaker Hey there! I'm looking around for Host Picks for tomorrow's party and the boots I just liked are what I'd like to share. I never tell people before hand but i really want to share them and I did notice a comment from someone asking to use outside payment. Outside payment is against Posh Policy so I wanted to not only give you a heads up but let you know that Host Picks are supposed to come from closets that follow the policies. I will save the boots for sure just wanted to let you know! 😊

I saw a few picks with you wearing some of your stuff and I think you should consider doing that. And my prices are fair because I'm eager to clear out my closet fast! When and if you are interested, please make an offer. Don't ever feel bad asking. Worst I can say is no. Lol. I just paid over $500 for these things. Impulse buy😁Ugh!! Lol. So I might not go down a lot. But kit.

fashionweek65 The memories are so sweet and I miss her terribly. Her death was sudden and unexpected (she died during surgery at age 48). Seeing your smile, so like hers, was like seeing her smile again. Thank you for your kind words and taking time to say hi tonight. This kind of surprise happening is a part of Poshing I never expected but truly treasure!

I got into Poshing because of an emotional depression in my life. And I must say, meeting beautiful people has lifted my spirits. Great women are a blessing to have in our lives. Have a great night. He had a plan and I started to accept he knew why he took him. So I will be picking the bible up soon again. And getting back to what I know has gotten me through all my tough times. Well, I think lipo was their invention for that and for those that have had that done, I've seen it just redistribute to other parts of the body that weren't treated. ricksmthree Good diet and exercise help but it is the freaking holiday season...I ate an entire pecan pie by myself over the course of 2 days. No amount of exercise has offset that! I'm a little soft and fluffy! I'll crack down on diet again after Christmas. When I can't button my jeans or they fit like jeggings, that is good sign that I need to get my ass in gear.🙄

That whole "mama bear" thing is for real. ;) I remember drawing every last bit of strength together for my son when his dad left when all I really wanted was to pull the covers over my head and cry. But we made it!! If only I could've seen now (10 years later), then!! Have courage -- you will see this through. The guy who left… obviously not worth your heart!!!

Thanks to dear friends and my praying mom, God got us through to a better place. My son is now almost 23 and living his dream!! Most definitely worth sticking around for. :) You guys will get through this and laughter will return! I am praying toward that end, sooner rather than later for you and those precious kiddos!

greekmama1 @effiekats My Sweet Effie. Thank you so much for your kind words. My Mama died 3 years ago. It seems like I was just starting to get over her death. I lived with her until I married my husband Paul then she moved in with us a year after we got married, up until her death. It was devastating because all she had was a Urinary tract infection and was in the hospital we get a call that she had 15 heart attacks. We all ran up to the hospital to watch her die. It was just devastating.

greekmama1 @effiekats Now my Daddy had influenza B and pneumonia and was intubated and he was 88. He was driving around one week and in ICU the next. Nobody gave him a chance to pull through but he did and he was getting better, on the day he was coming home we get a phone call a half an hour before he was supposed to be released and they said he died. Effie I feel like an orphan at 53. My Greek Orthodox Faith is the only thing getting me through this.

I was pregnant and I thought the stress of watching him die would make me miscarry. Well, I didn't say goodbye and the day we buried him I miscarried anyway. A little boy:(

effiekats @kimberleighcomp Ugh!!!! I wish it were that easy. I give that advice to all my friends but can't follow it. The worst part is that the past has made me not trust ANYONE. A lot of what's going on here, with the current one has to do with me being neurotic. So I wish he was a jerk and it would be easier. But I've created some of this. Which sucks!!! Like I said, I need therapy to learn that not everyone is out to hurt me like the others in the past. We'll see!😁

kimberleighcomp @effiekats honey I know exactly what you mean!! I was in that SAME Exact situation too! Its very hard to trust someone when youve been hurt before. I had alot of trust issues with my current BF and he has significantly changed his ways above and beyond my expectations although I am the one with the issues sometimes.. Its hard to put 100% of your trust in someone when youve been hurt in previous relationships but you have to let your guard down at some point or it can destroy you and him.

kimberleighcomp When i had a really bad break up several years back, a friend gave me this book called "One day my soul just opened up-40 days and nights of spiritual growth and personal strength by Iyanla Vanzant. She told me to read it because it was really good for my situation at the time, lonely, depressed, down on yourself because of a break up etc. Well it really really helped me!

kimberleighcomp @effiekats It got me thru a really hard time, and I was so thankful she passed it on to me! If you have time to read, you should defintely check it out! I passed it on to another friend or else I would ship it to you! The local library can probably get it or its on Amazon. It truly did help me become a stronger woman and learn my self worth and what I should expect out of relationships. Not that I still dont have my moments 😜 but it definetly got me thru a rough time in my life! 😉

He doesn't seem to understand that this is my issue and he just has to try and help in making it better. Instead he holds things from me as to not see my jealous side come out. Then I find things out and create a horrible story in my head and think he's cheating on me. It's a horrible cycle.

My dentist put in an order for me to have a CT of the face, and the results showed total jaw deterioration, w/ one of the jaw joints shifting clogging airway (which freaked me out). My jaw pops & clicks. It makes all sorts of music, ha! I do enjoy the tactics the dental professions use to make patients comfy. That makes a world of a difference 🙊💕😁

greekmama1 @effiekats I haven't seen, touched or held her for so long. It just makes me feel so sad. Now on the 22nd Daddy will be dead 4 months. I just am heartbroken 💔. I just miss him so very much. I still am in the mindset oh I need to call him and tell him that. It's so hard. I know he is here in spirit but it isn't the same. I don't care who says that crap but it's just not true. I know all the logical things Effie. But it's my heart that's sad.

latriguenamela @effiekats Eventually my family and closest friends went to a lupus support group with me. They not only learned a lot but discovered how horrible this disease is and just because we look good on the outside, doesn't mean ANYTHING! I get SO sick of hearing "WOW! You don't look sick at all!" My fiance tells me "You're so beautiful, no one would ever know you have lupus" Now I love that statement!

People don't want to be fixed. Words no matter how good their intentions don't work. I find them offensive. I'm just being honest with you. So I'd rather someone just give me a hug. Even with our christouli. We question his intent at times but it's part of the grieving process. I just care and hope you know whatever you're feeling, you can always vent to me. I'm doing ok now. Paul and I when we lived in California had our two cars license plates say Koukla1 and his was Koukla2 then when Tasia was born I changed mine to I❤️Tasia then when we moved to Atlanta I changed it when I got my new car to GRKMAMA1. Because they didn't have the heart symbol here in Georgia. I know I can be angry at Christouli but I truly am not. I know that it's part of the grieving process.

greekmama1 @effiekats My one sibling is really angry at him and our most glorious Theotokos. But Effiemou he was suffering and on many occasions because he had a rare blood / bone marrow disorder the last 5 years and it was a pre-leukemia his body was not making enough red blood cells so he was always tired he needed shots every two weeks and blood transfusions all the time. So he wasn't having a good quality of life the last year.

greekmama1 @effiekats He told me he was tired of living he wanted to go home to Christouli and The Theotokos his parents and Sisters and my Mama. Her death hit him hard they were divorced for 25 years and the last 8 years they really FINALLY got along. He was in ICU for 10 days then a step down from ICU the last month of his life. He had a feeding tube in. His one huge pleasure in life was to eat.

greekmama1 @effiekats He still had such an appetite like a teenager so he couldn't swallow after they took him off life support and when he was supposed to come home the day he died he still had the feeding tube in. Enough I don't want to talk about it anymore. I love you so much. God be with you. I hope you are blessed in your life you really deserve it. You are an amazing woman. ❣❣❣❣❣❣

I have 4 now, but my older 2 (my kids are 20, 17, 3 & 8mos) and I got SO close because I was a single mom for 14 years. It's a different closeness once your kids get into their teens, just a deeper relationship that's hard to articulate - they look a lot like you, esp your daughter! So nice to meet a new Posh friend!

It's never easy. But it makes us stronger and changes our outlook in life. I became a better person. I don't sweat the small stuff anymore. And now we have angels looking over us😇😇. But you're right. When I read those quotes on certain days, I feel like God is listening. I need to start believing more and giving life a chance to show me I'll be happy again. For now...
