@flowresq that’s strange. On my end it shows a $450 purchase price. Poshmark charges you the shipping at the time you make the purchase so there is no way for me to adjust it. I’m not sure why you’re getting charged $500 when the purchase price is $450 but if you look at the purchase breakdown it should explain it

@sanzi10 it looks like $7 for shipping and $43 for taxes. That’s why it was $500 total.

@flowresq oh okay I’m sorry. I did not realize Poshmark charged an additional tax on top of the purchase price total. I can’t change that but if you don’t want the dress anymore you are able to cancel the purchase. It is almost half off of the retail price tho!

@sanzi10 hello, please let me know if you saw the message I just sent. I just received the package but the box is empty! The postman said it was empty when they received it. Please let me know if the box was insured as the purchase was a sign if at amount and we don’t have a dress. I sent a picture of the box and how we just received in my other message. Thank you.

@flowresq that is absolutely shocking. I packaged the box in the post office and handed it to the post lady and received a receipt. I even took a photo of me holding the dress in the post office before I put it in the box. Let me know what Poshmark says and I will contact the post office for video footage because I physically packaged the dress in the store and this means a post worker stole it

@sanzi10 thank you so much for checking into this! Please know I trust you sent it, it’s just a significant purchase and I’m concerned that the item was stolen along the way. If the package was insured, then one of us should be able to be reimbursed. Also, it looks like maybe they repacked it, but it was only sealed haphazardly with scotch tape. I don’t know you can see it in the picture or not.

@flowresq I understand! This is super upsetting for both of us. Honestly I’m not sure if it was insured because Poshmark sends me a pre paid shipping label as the seller so I don’t select an option at the post office as it is pre set. I will definitely investigate a video tho from that day at the post office because I packaged the whole thing right there. Really scary to think that a worker stole it 😞
