bubbleandsqueak @green_planet awesome, welcome, ok tip of the day: I find for listing items try to list them in the easiest way for people to find it, I have found the best way is the brand first, and then size, color, some people put fabric, and list of its new with tags, Euc(excellent used condition) etc, at the end, because that pops up on the front picture anyway if it’s new with tags,

bubbleandsqueak @green_planet I used to put that first but found people search for brands more. Also if you wind up ever copying an item to re list the same item make sure you take the word copy off otherwise that will be first word on listing so people won’t find as easily.

bubbleandsqueak @green_planet ok tip day 2 I would say when someone likes an item, create a bundle for them, then add a comment to them saying thanks for the like and telling them if you have them a discount, I have found adding a comment helps and not just sending an offer.

bubbleandsqueak @green_planet In general what I have found that is different with poshmark as opposed to other platforms is the personal side of it, connecting with buyers and building relationships to have repeat buyers. So what goes with that is sharing items frequently, following other members, sharing items during the parties to the different party themes.

bubbleandsqueak @green_planet oh yes of course, many people put an item in the picture and then put accessories with it to show what it would be cute with, if you have other items for sale you can mention, just make sure to be overly obvious that those items are not included in the price as

bubbleandsqueak @green_planet i have thought i was really obvious at times when i have shown say a skirt i am selling with a shirt just to see what it would look like and then when I sent it i was asked where the shirt was so just make sure it’s clear what you are listing and what is included.

bubbleandsqueak @green_planet also just as a side thing if you want your items to come up on google searches it has to be a plain white background, I am not sure if you can have other items as well, not clear on that but i know if you want more exposure the background must be white and can’t have any writing on it like with the brand printed on it or anything.

bubbleandsqueak @green_planet i wanted to do something more pretty for backgrounds but have started doing the white for more exposure so just depends what you are wanting to do with it but just wanted to let you know that, and play around with things, what i started with isn’t what I am doing now and I am still learning and trying new things. Don’t be scared to just start, play around with it and you will learn what works for you and your customers and what things you do make you sell more.

So yes absolutely, the best thing to do when someone likes an item is to create a bundle for them. I can create one for you so you can see what it looks like but all you have to do is share the item they liked to them and it creates a bundle.

bubbleandsqueak @green_planet to share an item to a potential buyer that liked an item you click the share square that is on the listing and then the bummer with the app is it won’t let you copy the persons poshmark name you have to remember it, the website you can copy and paste. So you type in @ and whatever their name is and it will automatically share their bundle.

bubbleandsqueak @green_planet then you scroll down to my bundles and you will find the bundle they created. From there you can send a discount offer or offer discounted shipping, or just send a message to the potential buyer, i usually send an offer and then a message thanking them for the like and telling them what discount i gave. Its also great because if you want to go back later to all the people that you made bundles for you can send another discount months later if something hasn’t sold.

bubbleandsqueak @green_planet make sure to wait a few minutes until you send an ofer because the buyer may like multiple thjngs and once you send an offer you can’t add anything to it or change it for 24 hours which is a bummer. So many times someone liked an item, i send an offer, they like more items and i can’t add those till offer expires. They can decline and then you can resend but sometimes they don’t know how to do that.
