cassigraf Do you have any one piece swimsuits for swim practices, and I have a swim related question but do you wear your suits under clothes while driving in the car to your meets or practices eliminating having to change, just jump into warmups, just curious what other swimmers do and if it works.

elenigewalt1 @cassigraf i have a few suits listed and some more to list!! each swimmer does something different, sometimes I wear my suit to practice to make it easier on myself or when i’m running late but there are other times when i don’t wear my suit and i change when i get to the pool. everyone does it differently but that’s just what I do!

cassigraf @elenigewalt1 oh ok, I just started swimming so want to know what other swimmers do for there routines and what works, do you normally just drive back home in the car wearing the suit after practice and change/shower once there making it easier how do you prevent the car seats from getting wet too.

elenigewalt1 @cassigraf i always change before i drive home because i don’t like being in my wet suit. if i can’t change i sit on a towel

cassigraf @elenigewalt1 Isn’t it uncomfortable though after awhile or just don’t even really notice when your driving in a suit I haven’t figured out what works best for me routine wise, like tie backs for instance sometimes you’re like leaning on the knot and that kind of hurts after a while but with other brand suits i mean it’s like fine, if I had to wear one in the car like I wouldn’t mind it I just don’t know what’s easier

elenigewalt1 @cassigraf some suits get uncomfortable after a while (usually tie backs for me). i prefer to change before i leave practice because i don’t like being wet and i live in a colder area so i also don’t like freezing in a wet suit. all my friends and i do different things when it comes to changing, i just do what’s the most comfortable for me! :)

cassigraf @elenigewalt1 well not right now but in summer time you don’t do that,what’s the quickest way and why would you do that leaving swim practice and driving home in the car with the one piece still on,besides that and not another way with covid going on?
