@awd0866 Thank you! There are many books showcasing specific designers or styles. I would start by choosing the pieces that are in excellent condition- all stones are present and bright, etc. Look for a designer's mark - some costume jewelry designers are very collectible. I have researched and taught myself through the years to recognize the markings. You will find yourself diving into a whole new world of wonderment!!

I did email supposed to let them know there is an issue with the Tumblr-Posh security because I was not sharing to my Tumblr page. I looked and had two other Poshers look on my tumblr page and they only saw listings from Posh shared there.

You should add that a piece of the set is in a museum in the description; that is a great selling point, in my opinion. My Mother and her Mother left me some amazing pieces. @dvacante I just play with the color schemes and angles to find what’s appealing to me and hope everyone else does too!! One thing I’m trying to correct is the length of my ‘sections’. I think It looks better if there is some consistency in that aspect. I don’t want to lose the shopper’s interest, but choppy isn’t appealing either. Just jump in there and start playing with your listings. I’m here if I can help 😃 I hope that helps a little😘

@skyrubin23 Lol. I've done that as well. I hope you got some shares back! I originally had this idea that I would have 1 closet for all my vintage items and 1 for those non vintage and boutique ones. I don't know what I was thinking. It is WAY too much with just 1 closet. And I think I would do better with all in one anyway. People didn't get bundling or shopping from both. (The signs advertising that didn't work & are now buried)

@alyshasmom2 Thank you!😊 I research my jewelry- I look for maker’s marks, styles, similar pieces, etc. I have learned to recognize certain designers or time periods from the pieces I have had, seen, or through general research. Each vintage or antique piece has its own history, it’s own story, and I enjoy telling their stories!

Hi 👋Elisa! I’m new to Poshmark and I’ve been shopping 🛍 different closets trying to get the feel for what Posh is all about. I must say, I absolutely LOVE 💕 your closet! Everything is just my vintage style! Except I see that you don’t include measurements with your listings which makes me hesitant to make an offer or purchase. A size 4 or Small back in the 70’s or the 50’s was very different than it is today. Hoping to share some info that might help you get more sales.

Open to offers on the leather coat from Spain. My husbands medical bills while he waits on a heart donor is the only reason I am selling it along with many other items I would otherwise keep.
