They are scammers trying to lure you off Poshmark and phish for your personal info like CC#. They use fake emails saying they bought your item. Most are not living in Canada either. To stay safe and be covered by Poshmark protection, only use the official site/app. Happy sales!

elisesylvester @cubbiemolly thank you so much for letting me know! I almost fell for it and that would have sucked. The email they sent looked very official so that would have totally worked

cubbiemolly @elisesylvester Yep, I have seen others say they fell for it and had their credit card number stolen or bank account compromised. They also steal peoples login info to hack the account and use it to scam others. So glad you didn’t go any further with it!
