I used to live across Gorman Catholic HS years ago, but then I moved to Henderson which is where I am now. I have some extended family in Reno because of UNR, but my parents have always lived in Clark County (they're Las Vegas born & raised like myself). My family has been here forever, so I compare a lot of things I’m told from them vs people who live here now. Only 15% of “Nevadans” are natives & we are #1 for least amount of natives in a state lol We still prefer the “old” small Las Vegas over this rapid expansion.
