elleb86 Hello fellow poshers. I was recently contacted by another posher and they purchased a pair of shoes from me. They sent a check to he and asked me to cash the check for the item and send rest to them. Because I have a banking background I could tell check was fake so I called the bank the check was drawn on and it was a fake. Have anyone else experienced this? I’m fairly new to the site and noticed people will send their email. In which now I refer them back to site for contact.

gottahaveit66 @elleb86 DO NOT deposit it. Knowing you have a banking background and noticed it’s fake, you know they want your account number. And sending an email is so iffy, again most likely scam. Never go out side of Poshmark unless you are selling on another reputable other platform.

The site said I could cancel because they hadn’t been able to reach you. It won’t let me cancel until tomorrow on the site in which I will first thing in the morning.
