whit1955 Hey there! Glad that you're happy with your watch. No, you didn't misunderstand. Unfortunately, my jeweler did not have your battery in stock and he didn't know when he would get it due to Covid making delivery more difficult here. I knew that the watch was working; so, I sent it to you to meet my 3-day obligation. The new battery is a courtesy that I try to do to give my customers a fresh start. I was unable to do that for you. I sent a note, but I guess that you didn't see it. Sorry, Carla

liz_shoes @whit1955 I did not realize the 3 day limit on sending....I actually would have waited. I saw the message later, and I understand the circumstances. My misgivings come from my luck with watches and batteries, and the trouble of replacing them etc. I appreciate your getting back to me. It is a very, cool watch. thanks-

whit1955 @liz_shoes I understand. Your battery is usually available. Unfortunately, I live in Appalachia and we are the most isolated and underserved area in Virginia. During Covid, it is now even more difficult to get basic needs. So, I see that you live in Hampton. You shouldn't have too much trouble getting a battery there. For now, the watch is working, just pull the stem out to maintain the battery until you can secure a new one. Good luck to you, Carla.

whit1955 @liz_shoes I don't remember the exact number but I just remember that it was a common one that is usually available. If you have a Walmart near you, they change them for you and they usually have it in stock.

whit1955 @liz_shoes Actually, you were my last sale that I mailed from that post office. Somehow they used the scanned info from your package instead of scanning the info on the package. I only printed one label for your watch; so, I didn't get them confused. So, the fault lies with them. I'm gonna call them again on Monday and let them know that I've located it. I'll send you a message letting you know what they to do to rectify this situation. Sorry for the inconvenience, Carla.
