Hi, I'm Elizabeth! Theatrical costume designer and mother of 3 girls who are all in their 20's. I love vintage clothing so you well find some great pieces here. Especially pieces I acquired for theatrical productions but then did not use. You will also find more modern items which I find cool and interesting. lanassister Thank you for sharing my “Not So Kool Closet” that definitely needs reworked and more care taken in the photos, plus I have some things in there that are God Awful that someone asked me to post, which I would never wear myself, but they belonged to a friend’s mother who is no longer here(God Bless her Soul) even the daughter said they were ugly! oldspooldesigns @lanassister The theatre work is volunteer and I love it. My grandmother who was born in 1899 taught me to sew when I was a child. But my profession was research scientist until I left that world to stay at home with my kids. I have had a lot of adventures in my life and look forward to more...where ever the path leads. I have been blessed with wonderful people and family in my life, past and present. sounds lije you have a great daughter!

oldspooldesigns @karlensclassics our area is ok. We are far enough inland and it went further up the coast. I am out of town at the moment. I got notification that your packages arrived but the postal carrier would not leave them. He won't get out of his van because I have a dog. Who by the way is not there either, he is with me. I have trouble with this particular carrier. I will go to the PO in the morning to pick them up. Sorry its taking so long for me to get them

oldspooldesigns @karlensclassics No worries. I go to the PO almost everyday. I do not trust our carrier to pick up the packages I ship so I take them myself. It just holds things up when I am out of town because the P.O. won't let me send anyone else to get the packages.

I have mixed feelings about sharing our closets to be seen, because the more listings you have the longer it takes to share your own closet trying to get sales. I know many, many on here use bots, I personally don’t like to do anything against the rules, so I share manually and it’s tiresome.

oldspooldesigns @roxy2929 😁 I am pretty new to PM. I did not even know you could use a "bot". I watch tips given on YouTube by Poshers. And I just like helping others in general. One thing I have learned, as my closet has gotten bigger, I do not share the entire closet everytime I share. When I share others closets, which are big, I try to pick items throughout the closet which will draw the shopper's interest and bring them into the closet to look for more. Then later, I share other items from their closet.

purple_horses @oldspooldesigns Thank you for your kind concern. We are not allowed to visit mom in the hospital. We try to FaceTime when the nurses have time. Dementia prognosis is probably not so good as mom cannot swallow anymore. I am heartbroken. Thank you 💗💗💗
