dancerdream1 Just so you know, the Barbie things in your closet make me so happy especially the things from early to mid ‘90’s. I grew up in the Ukraine back then and Barbie was so hard to come by and expensive and when I had health problems my family went to the big city to buy me a real Barbie and the store gave a catalog of all the barbies back then and one of those outfits is in your closet! I can’t believe it.

dancerdream1 I used to just look through the catalog over and over. I was also lucky to then have been gifted some Barbie furniture but when we were coming to the states the bag it was in it got stolen by the airport crew (probably to be resold, so as you can see Ukraine was a horrible place back then).

dancerdream1 My family also could not afford to buy me a Polly pocket but they used to show commercials for it over and over. And I look at the stickers prices on the Barbie things and I cannot believe how inexpensive it all was in the states
