reneemv 1) The tea leaves are placed in the pot that has the paper label on the top. This is the pot which the demonstrator is holding. Hot water is placed on this pot to the top 2) The filter located on the bottom right of the picture is then placed on the server pot, located on the top left corner of the picture. 3) The pot with the leaves and hot water is then poured onto the server pot (which has the filter on the top, as described in Item (2) above)

reneemv 4) You are now ready to serve from the Server Pot into the individuals tea cups (6 of them on the pictures). 5) Step one can now be repeated several times until when the tea leaves has no more flavor or taste or color. Then it is time to replenish with new Leaves.

reneemv 6) The use of the tray is to hold tea, in the event of spillage. Also it is customary in CN to initially wash all of the servers, pots and cups with hold water before serving, always in front of the drinker. It is never washed before hand without the presence of the drinker since this is un-polite The tray is now also used to hold the results of the washing. HAPPY TEA MAKING!!
