emclarke91 Hi @jaybirdthreads ! I just did my first trade a few weeks ago and it was a great success! Poshmark doesn't recommend because they aren't able to protect you if other person doesn't follow thru with their end of deal-but I have found trades to be successful with poshers that have good ratings (shows me they are trustworthy)!

emclarke91 Way it works is that when you decide to trade with someone, you mark the object you are trading 'not for sale'. I then give my email and you send each other your addresses and pay for it to be shipped to the other person yourself. Let me know if you're interested! I'm on here to sell clothes in order to get new ones so trading works for me but I understand why everyone's not into it so no pressure if it doesn't work for you! Lmk if you have any more questions about it :) @jaybirdthreads

jaybirdthreads Hey, thanks for getting back to me. That sounds a lot like selling off of Poshmark ... And it's not that I'm concerned about the trustworthy aspect of it, it's just against the Poshmark policy. So thank you but I'm not interested in trades. I might buy that wool sweater though! 🙂

I'm going to reread their policy..I don't believe trading is against the policy-i just think that they state that if you choose to do it they can't back you if there's a problem! But totally a preference and no worries :) look forward to your possible offer!!

emclarke91 @teags13 that is a very intense comment. Poshmark is made to bid. If my offer was low, you were more than welcome to decline it. That was how much I felt comfortable spending on boots that I didn't know would fit and for something that isn't my typical style. Also, the boots look dark brown. I wore an all black outfit tonight and the boots were significantly lighter. My girlfriends agreed it was not black, although when looking at the boots by itself they definitely do look black.

emclarke91 @teags13 The 3 star rating is not trash. I stated they are great but not the color I was expecting. If you'd like me to return them, happy to get my money back. Please keep the anger off my page-too much of that going around right now and a 3 star rating on one poshmark sale is not the end of the world. When someone has given me less than 5, I immediately offer them to send it back for a refund, not turn it into an argument.

teags13 @emclarke91 THE BOOTS ARE NOT SOLD IN BROWN. Black comes in many shades. I don't care that they don't match your outfit of many shades of black. They aren't sold on brown so they cannot be brown. I'm not going to give you your money back on a product simply bc your eyes are not working.
